I’m April, and I’m originally from East Dublin, Georgia, I am a mother of three who recently married my husband, Allen. Our marriage has joyfully brought together our children, forming a blended family similar to the Brady Bunch. My oldest daughter, Logan, 23, graduated with her BSN-RN from Georgia Southern and works as a critical care nurse in Statesboro, Georgia, currently pursuing a graduate degree at Augusta University to become a Nurse Practitioner. My middle daughter, Kenslee, is 19 and just graduated from high school; an avid soccer player, she is attending Middle Georgia to study nursing, following in her sister's footsteps. My 16-year-old son, a junior this year, enjoys wrestling and riding ATVs.
Through my marriage, I have also gained three step-children: twins Alli and Wes, who are 20, and Dalton, 24, who has a passion for hunting. Our family especially enjoys spending time in Savannah, Georgia, where Allen and I recently got married, appreciating the city's historic homes and rich history.
